Day 1: Arrive Gaya - Bodhgaya
Arrival Gaya . Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. Bodhgaya in the state of Bihar, reckoned as the most important Buddhist pilgrimage centre, is the place where Lord Sakyamuni (Gautam Buddha) entered into meditation after being moved by the sufferings of mankind.
Day 2: Bodhgaya - Rajgir – Nalanda - Patna
After breakfast drive to Rajgir (125 km). Rajgir is a site of great Sanctity and significance for Buddhists. Afternoon visit Gridhakuta Hill, Bimbisara jail & Ajatashatru's Fort.
Drive to Nalanda (14 km) and It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddist Studies. Continue to Patna, arrival Patna , check in at hotel. Overnight hotel in Patna.
Day 3: Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar
After early breakfast drive to Kushinagar enroute visiting Vaishali (290 kms approx. 08 hours drive). Lunch on way at local restaurant Arrival Kushinagar.On arrival transfer to hotel.
Kushinagar : The Place where Buddha entered perfect tranquility - the state of Mahaparinirvana.
Visit temple Mahaparinirvana, the huge statue of the Reclining Buddha, Mukutbandhana, come back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Kushinagar - Lumbini - Sravasti
After breakfast drive to Lumbini (161 kms / apprx 4.5 hrs drive) with packed lunch .Arrival Lumbini. Visit Temples in Lumbini. Lumbini : The place where enlightened Gutam Buddha was born. Drive to Sravasti (197 kms / apprx 5 hrs drive) . Arrival Sravasti , on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay
Day 5: Sravasti - Varanasi
After breakfast visit Sahet Mahet (Capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala, Jetawana Gardens Buddhist temples etc.
After lunch drive to Varanasi (8/9 hrs aprx.).
Arrival Varanasi and check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Varanasi : The eternal city is one of the most important Pilgrim sites in India and also a major Tourist Attraction, situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges.The name Varanasi derived from two rivers. The Varuna and Assi. It is a Great Centre of learning and Civilization. It is also known as Kashi and Banaras
Day 6: Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Early Morning Boat ride at River Ganga. After breakfast visit Sarnath - about 10 kms from the holy city of Varanasi – is the blessed locale where more than 2500 years ago Buddha choose to deliver his first sermon.
After lunch drive to Bodhgaya (apprx 07 hrs drive).
Arrival Bodhgaya .On arrival check in at hotel and overnight stay.
Day 7: Bodhgaya
Visit Maha Bodhi temple. Overnight Bodhgaya.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
