Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Depart from hotel for city sightseeing.
Raj Ghat and Gandhi Museum – the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns perpetually at one end. The memorial has the epitaph Hē Ram, believed to be the last words uttered by Gandhi.
Visit India Gate, the memorial of the First World War and the road that leads from there to President House, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament, Government Secretariat buildings.
Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi was built in only five years through the blessings of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) and the colossal devotional efforts of 11,000 artisans and thousands of BAPS volunteers. Heralded by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6 November, 2005.

Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast depart for Delhi city tour.
We drive to Lotus temple.
Lotus Temple – although the temple belongs to the Baha’i sect, is open to people of all faiths. Baha’i religion, an independent, is a very important prayer and meditation tools to progress in the human.
Rail Museum This unique museum has a fascinating and exotic collection of over 100 real size exhibits of Indian Railways. Static and working models, signaling equipments, antique furniture’s, historical photographs and related literature etc. are displayed in the museum.
The star attraction here is the Fairy Queen, built in 1855 and considered to be one of the best preserved steam locomotive engines of her age. A ride in joy train and mono rail (PSMT) is the most exciting experience besides boating.
After Rail Museum we take walking tour through the famous bazaar of Janpath, centrally located in New Delhi. This is one of the Top market for shopping for travellers and equally preferred market for locals and overseas buyers.
Back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Delhi / Agra ( 203 kms / 4.5 hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Agra.
This is recommended to Visit Agra Fort before check in. It would be big time saving and convenient too. Thereafter transfer to hotel. Groups members can relax and hotel and plan shopping in Agra.
Agra Fort : is among the finest examples of the fusion architecture that has dominated the Mogul period. The assimilation of these different styles has given the buildings within the fort a distinctive look. To name a few, for example, the Jahangir Palace built by Akbar is the most magnificent blend of Persian and local style whereas Divan-e-Aam mixes subtleness of Turkish exteriors with the complex pattern of Persian architecture. Babur stayed in the fort in the palace of Ibrahim.

Day 4: Agra / Abhaneri / Jaipur ( 235 km / 5.5 hrs drive)
After breakfast checkout and depart from hotels to visit Taj Mahal.
Taj Mahal : We will visit the majestic marble edifice, Taj Mahal. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance stands on the banks of river Yamuna. The architecture is considered as the finest specimen of Mughal style of architecture. The architecture is highly inspired from different styles of architecture, which includes Persian, Indian and Turkish. Taj Mahal architecture is truly splendid and one of its kind in the world. The design & layout of Taj Mahal never fails to enrapture architects, engineers, historians as well as common man. (Closed on Friday)
Post Taj Mahal visit drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Abhaneri Step well (140 kms from Agra).
Abhaneri Stepwell The Chand Baori is a step well built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest step wells in the world and also one of the most beautiful ones.
Located in the eastern part of the province of Rajasthan, it was built by King Chanda somewhere in the 9th century. The Chand Baori is not an easy landmark to find, thus it is one of the hidden secrets of India ! Step wells, also called bawdi or baori, are unique to this nation. The wells have steps built into the sides that lead down to the water.
Continue to Jaipur. Before check in at hotel 01 hour stop ( optional) at Shopping Mall on way to hotel to buy necessary items (food and drinks). You will be able to see illuminated city and shopping malls. Diwali, the festival of lights, is the happiest time to be in India.

The history of Diwali is replete with legends and these legends are moored to the stories of Hindu religious scriptures, mostly the Puranas. Though the central theme of all legends point out to the classic truth of the victory of the good over the evils, the mode of their presentation and the characters differ. Diwali, being the festival of lights, lighting the lamp of knowledge within us means to understand and reflect upon the significant purpose of each of the five days of festivities and to bring those thoughts in to the day to day lives.

Day 5: Jaipur ( Diwali Celebration)
After breakfast proceed to visit City Palace and Photography stop at Hawa Mahal . Shopping at Local Bazaar near Hawa Mahal.
City Palace : City tour of the pink city, visit the City Palace – the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles which houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and armoury of the Mughals and Rajputs, including swords of different shapes and sizes with ornate handles. It has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.
Hawa Mahal : Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur, India, so named because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. We stop here for the photographs from outside.
Shopping : Jaipur-a treasure trove for shoppers, shopping is irresistible, a wide range of handicrafts are available in the market, most of items are produced in the centers in and around the city. The city is one of the most important centers in the world for cutting and polishing precious and semi precious stone, diamonds.
Jaipur is also famous for its textiles. Sanganeri and Bagru block prints are the fashion designer’s craze these days. The Bandhej (tie and dye) print is very typical of the region.
Elephant Village : Hathi gaon ( Elephant village ) is a small village that was set up by the government in 2010 to give proper shelter and water facilities to all the families and their elephants that served tourists in and around Amer Fort during the day.
Along with all the homes and shelters for the elephants there are big man-made ponds in the village designed specifically for elephants to relax and bathe in it after a long hard days work. People can visit the place and enjoy the sight of many elephants playing and bathing in open which is a rare sight in this part of India.
Ideally, summer is the best season to visit the place as the probability to get to see lot of elephants bathing together is more during this season.
Main festival will be celebrated on this day. Transfer to World Trade Park Shopping Mall. Witness the Festival. Drive past in through the main area of Jaipur city.
Hindu Mythology
The Story of Rama and Sita: Lord Rama was a great warrior King who was exiled by his father Dashratha, the King of Ayodhya, along with his wife Sita and his younger brother Lakshman, on his wife's insistence. Lord Rama returned to his Kingdom Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, in which he put an end to the demon Ravana of Lanka, who was a great Pundit, highly learned but still evil dominated his mind. After this victory of Good over Evil, Rama returned to Ayodhya. In Ayodhya, the people welcomed them by lighting rows of clay lamps. So, it is an occasion in honor of Rama's victory over Ravana; of Truth's victory over Evil.
In the evening, watch Jaipur’s skyline light up with a breathtaking fireworks display, and join the celebration as locals spark firecrackers in the streets.

Day 6:Jaipur – Delhi - Departure

Checkout by 10:30 hrs. Depart hotel to visit Amer Fort
Amber Fort : You will explore the massive Amber Fort. This morning you will drive 11 kms in the outskirts of the city to visit Amber Fort with Elephant Ride , the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. The top of the hill on which the fort is situated. It has halls of Public and Private Audience, a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) various marble palaces which are marvellous examples of ancient Rajput architecture. The Temple of Amba (Mother Goddess), the patron deity of the Royal family is at the entrance to the palace.
Continue drive to Delhi. After Amer Fort tour we stop at Jal Mahal for photography.
Jal Mahal Jaipur : Literally meaning as ‘Water Palace’, Jal Mahal is located amidst the Man Sagar Lake and was constructed by Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. The beauty of the palace lies in its location as the palace cum hotel is standing in the centre of the lake.
Continue drive to Delhi. Transfer to International Airport (T3) to board flight for onward destination.
