Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Meet and assist on arrival at Delhi International Airport. Transfer to Hotel. On arrival check into hotel. After breakfast, we drive into the heart of India's capital to explore Old and New Delhi. Drive to see the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the nation, at Rajghat.
Visit Delhi's famous Jama Mosque , and climb the minaret for a bird's eye view of the old city. Walk through Chandni Chowk, one of India's oldest and busiest markets, and learn the history of the Sikh religion at the important Gurduwara, (Sikh place of worship). Stop for photos at the colourful spice market before finishing at Connaught Place, one of the most prominent architectural remnants of British rule.
Afterwards visit one of the most inspirational monuments of Delhi's past Qutub Minar, a World Heritage monument and one of the most instantly recognizable and historically important monuments in Delhi. This 234 foot high fluted minaret was built in 1193, at the time of the foundation of the Islamic rule in Indian known as the Delhi Sultanate. The adjacent Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque is an early example of the fusion of Hindu panels and Islamic domes and arches reflecting the mingling of the two cultures. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Drive Delhi/Agra ( 203 Kms / 4.5 Hrs )

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra by road.
Afternoon explore famous sights of Agra . Enjoy visit to the world famous Taj Mahal which is a sheer poetry in white marble and its majesty and magnificence are unrivalled. It is the one and only one of its kind in the whole world, which was the ultimate realization of Emperor Shahjehan's dream for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Visit the Agra Fort. The great Mughal Emperor Akbar commissioned the construction of the Agra fort in 1565 A.D although additions were made till the time of his grandson Shahjahan. It stands at a distance of just 2 Km from the majestic Taj Mahal, and is built in red sandstone. Agra is famous for its inlay work on marble, and makes a good market for some beautiful arts and crafts which can be picked up as souvenirs and memorabilia. After sightseeing check in at the hotel. Shopping in Local Market in Sadar Bazar. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Delhi (203 Kms / 4.5Hrs )

Morning after breakfast check out. Drive to Fatehpur Sikri (42 kms / 1.5 hr drive). Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri: This deserted red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar in 1571 AD in honor of the famous Sufi saint, Salim Chishti. The Mughal capital for only 14 years until abandoned due to lack of water, the buildings, blending Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture and reflecting Akbar's secular vision remain in an excellent condition and it is a fascinating place to wander around.
Afternoon drive to Delhi by road. On arrival in Delhi, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Delhi/Haridwar (Train 12017, 0650/1125 hrs) /24Kms/1 Hour )

Early morning transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board train for Haridwar. Meeting & Assistance on arrival at Haridwar Railway Station. Later enjoy tour of Haridwar In Hindi, Haridwar stands for Dwar of Hari or Gateway to God, with 'Hari' meaning god and 'dwar' meaning gate. Haridwar is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus. Haridwar is one of the holiest town for Hindus all across the world. It is believed that drops of the elixir of immortality, Amrit fell here when the pitcher was being carried by a celestial bird Garuda. Spend some time exploring local markets in Haridwar. Evening enjoy prayer ceremony on "Har Ki Pauri". It is the most popular ghat on the banks of Ganga and referred as the major landmark of the city. Evening prayer at dusk offered to Goddess Ganga at Har-Ki-Pauri (steps of God Hara or Shiva) is an enchanting experience for any visitor. A spectacle of sound and coloris seen when, after the ceremony, pilgrims float diyas (floral floats with lamps) and incense on the river, commemorating their deceased ancestors. It is also the place where thousands of pilgrims converge and the festivities commence during the KumbhaMela, which takes place every twelve years, and the ArdhKumbhMela, which takes place every six. Later transfer to Hotel . Check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Rishikesh

Early Morning experience yoga class at your hotel under the guidance of a professional instructor, Yoga is a way of life based on ancient Indian philosophy, which holds that exercise affects the mind.
After breakfast we drive to Rishiksh. Rishikesh, the 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is believed that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh" and this area henceforth came to be known as Rishikesh.
Visit the Parmarth Niketan, Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, enjoy comfortable walk to local markets, go around the shops and stalls, or sit in one corner of the market and look at the occurrence of colour. Return to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Haridwar / Chandigarh ( 216 Kms/ 7 Hrs apprx.)

Morning after breakfast drive to Chandigarh by road. Chandigarh is the best-planned city in India, with architecture which is world-renowned, and a quality of life, which is unparalleled. As the capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh it is a prestigious city. The face of modern India, Chandigarh, is the manifestation of a dream that Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru envisaged and Le Corbusier executed.
Serenity and a city are two diametrically opposite concepts, which however, get belied in the 'City Beautiful'. Chandigarh is a rare epitome of modernization co-existing with nature's preservation. It is here that the trees and plants are as much a part of the construction plans as the buildings and the roads. India's first planned city is a rich, prosperous, spic and span, green city rightly called "THE CITY BEAUTIFUL".
On arrival in Chandigarh. Afternoon visit Rock Garden.
Chandigarh has the distinction of having a unique world acclaimed Rock Garden. It Consist of art object, fashioned from industrial and urban waste. It is situated between the capital complex and Sukhna lake in Sector1.It nestles amidst 20acres of woods in the form of an open air exhibition hall, theatre trove and a miniature maze all rolled into one vast fantasy land of art and landscape. It is without doubt, a tourist spot that is a must on the itinerary of visitor to Chandigarh.An unpretentious entrance leads to a magnificent, almost, surrealist arrangement of rocks, boulders, broken chinaware, discarded fluorescent tubes, broken and cast away glass bangles, building waste, coal and clay-all juxtaposed to create a dream
folk world of palaces, soldiers, monkeys, village life, women and temples. The open air sculptures and concealed gateways separating them are at places enhanced by a waterfall, pools and an open air theatre with proper stage setting. Several prestigious performances have been staged in this small but very artistic and naturalistic open air theatre. In the evening visit the famous shopping areas of Chandigarh in Sector 17 Market. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Chandigarh / Shimla ( 119 Kms/ 4.5 Hrs )

Morning after breakfast drive to Shimla by road.
The British empire may have ceased to exit, but its echo lingers on in Shimla (2205m). As the Summer Capital of the British in India, Shimla was the country's focus for the better part of every year and now, is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. Today, it has well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions making it one of India's most popular hill resort. Situated in the lower ranges of the Himalayan mountains, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Within the town are host of splendid colonial edifices, quaint cottages and charming walks. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities.
Straight excursion to Kufri.
Kufri is around 20 Km Approx 1Hrs from Shimla (another direction) , it has some good hiking trails and ski slopes, cedar forests and excellent picnic spots. Visit Himalaya Nature Park , Chini Bungalow i.e. at 8000FT Highest Point, One can see the tree of Bhojpatra that was used as a paper for writing in Old time. It was Residence of One of the queen of the King of Patiala.
Return to Shimla. Check in at hotel.
In the evening, visit the famous Mall road, Scandal Point and Shimla Church. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Shimla/Kullu/Manali ( 253Kms / 09 Hrs )

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Manali. En-route pass by Pandoh Dam, Beas river, Sutlaj river, Beas Sutlaj Link Project, Kullu Valley. Visit Shawl Factory in Kullu. Arrive Manali in the evening. On arrival in Manali, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Manali - Excursion to Snow Point ( Approx. 2-4 Hours )

Morning after breakfast, enjoy spectacular drive towards snow point. Free time to play and enjoy in the snow ( Availability of Snow is unpredicted and totally depend on weather, in case it gets melted).
Early morning depart for excursion to snow point (Beyond Gulaba) and Rohtang pass is banned by NGT. NGT has banned all Diesel vehicles to Rohtang pass.
Hence we generally visit the snow point in Gulaba. Which has been permitted by the Border Security Force.
We would recommend that you bring jackets ( to protect wind and cool ) with you for visiting snow point or you can also Hire at extra cost , en route to snow point , Snow dress, Snow Gloves, Snow Shoe. Our Representative will help you in this regard.It is advised if anybody suffering from Asthmatic or High/low blood pressure please consult from your Doctor before going because this Area is full filled with Snowy Mountain ,bone Shivering Cold weather with Wind & Oxygen Gas level is very down so breathing problem can happen ,please take care.
Note: Only local small vehicles are allowed for Rohtang Pass / Snow point visit. (coach and bigger vehicles are not allowed). Entry to Snow Point is before 11a.m. & return around 1p.m. afternoon as per the Norms by local Police & it can change time to time.Return to Manali .Evening enjoy Bollywood Movie at Local Cinema Hall at 6 PM Show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Manali

Morning after breakfast, explore local sights in Manali. Today's city tour takes you the four and a half century old Hadimba Devi Temple located amidst wooden forest of Deodar and has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols.
Drive to visit Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs Bath, Visit Gauri Shankar Temple on way to Naggar Castle.
Vashist: This place is famous for its hot water springs and temples of Vashisht Rishi and Lord Rama. It is located on the bank of Beas, but well above the river. Natural hot sulphur springs with two separate bathing tanks for gents and ladies are always full of tourists. Turkish style showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby spring is provided for bathing.
Visit Gauri Shankar Temple on way to Naggar Castle.
Visit Naggar Castle.
Return to Manali.
Visit Tibetan Monastery (Near Mall Road) which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings.
Evening visit mall road, the life centre of every hill station. Why not spend few blissful moments walking through the undulating stretches and enjoying the cool mountain breeze, shop for local handicrafts on your own. Return to hotel. Enjoy Himachali Cultural Traditional Dance in Manali at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Manali / Dharamsala ( 260 Kms / 9Hrs )

Early in the morning drive to Dharamsala.
Enroute you can see the view of Beas River, visit Shiva Temple at Baijnath, Tea garden at Palampur.
On arrival at Dharamsala (Mc Leodganj) in the evening, check in at the hotel.
The High snow clad Dhauladhar ranges form a magnificent backdrop to the hill resort of Dharamsala. This is the principal township of Kangra district and overlooks wide spread of the plains. With dense pine and deodar forests, numerous streams, cool healthy air, attractive surroundings and the nearby snowline, Dharamsala has everything for a perfect holiday. It is full of life and yet peaceful. The headquarters of His Holiness the Dalai Lama are at upper Dharamsala. Covering a wide area in the form of twin settlement, lower Dharamsala (1380m) is a busy commercial centre. While upper Dharamsala (1830m) with the suburbs of Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj, retains a British flavor and colonial lifestyle. The charming church of St. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. There is also a large Tibetan community who have made this place their home. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Dharamsala

Morning after breakfast, explore Dharamsala with our Guide.
Visit Norbulingka Institute, Gyunto Tantric Monastery (KARMAPA), Kangra Art Gallery, Men Tsee Khang (Medical Museum), Dalai Lama Temple, St John Church/ Chabad House, local markets in Mcleodganj. Evening return to Hotel . Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Dharamsala / Amritsar (240Kms/6Hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel. Drive to Amritsar. Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
Later enjoy tour of Amritsar. We visit DarshanDeori, a memorial to the spot from where the Gurus Arjun and Hargobind would view the Golden Temple and the Bartan Bazaar (Utensils Market).
We will also see ThakurdwaraDariana Mal, with ornate carvings based on Hindu mythology, which contains shrines to Lord Krishna. Entering the courtyard of the Thakurdwara is like stepping back in time, shedding light on the beautiful colonial style architecture that has influenced much of downtown Amritsar. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14: Amritsar

After breakfast proceed to visit Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Amritsar being ancients and a crowded city, the parking a bit away from main temple complex. Pilgrims / visitors will have to walk around 500 meters.
Golden Temple, considered as one of the most hallowed sites of Sikh religion. Example of both Hindu and Muslim styles of architecture, it flaunts a huge dome made of pure gold. Its architectural genius attracts the interest of one and all around the globe. Although primarily a sacred pilgrimage spot for the Sikhs, it is also visited by travelers from various parts of the world. This temple arranges for Bundara (Lunch/Dinner) throughout the year for the visitors.
Jalianwalan Bagh - In 1919, the British Police fired randomly on a peaceful assembly of people gathered in demand of freedom, which killed hundreds of men, women and children on the spot. The bullet marks on the boundary walls bring alive the agonizing tale of cruelty of colonial rule.
Back to hotel. Relax for a while.
1430 hrs : Depart from hotel to visit Wagha Border - the India-Pakistan border, Wagha is just 28 km from the main town of Amritsar. The change of guard's ceremony at sunset draws a good many spectators. From Parking Area ( you will have to walk around 1 km) and follow security norms, please carry only usable items, please avoid heavy bags, you may carry a small bag containing money , passport (or ID proof) , water bottle and camera, money to buy snacks as it takes a while and you will feel hunger. Vendors having cold drinks, water, chips , biscuits come and keep moving around.
You may participate in activities without hesitation following the norms and with respect under the border security force. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15: Depart Amritsar

Morning after breakfast transfer to Amritsar Airport to board flight for home.
