Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP / IXB & transfer to Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this Hill queen. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Darjeeling Local sightseeing
Early morning at 0400 hrs visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park (both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway (operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid by guest directly). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Drive Darjeeling – Pelling (130 Kms/ 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast transfer to Pelling in West Sikkim. The exciting journey runs through the winding road cutting across the valleys, hills and villages and follows the course of Teesta River and then beautiful Rangit River tillLegship. Pelling – a small tourist hub in West Sikkim hills known for serene holy lakes, old Monasteries and pristine landscape. Pelling sprawled at 6100ft (1830M) offers one of the most amazing views of Kanchenjunga Range. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Drive Pelling – Gangtok (125 Kms/5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour including Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchendzonga waterfalls, Khechepalri wishing Lake. After sightseeing drive to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Gangtok - Day Excursion To Tsomgo Lake
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake(timings depend on the issuance of Permit) - situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft. In the evening drive back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Drive Gangtok - Lachung (120 kms/5 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Lachung(timings depend on the issuance of Permit) (altitude 8610 ft) via Phodong, Mangan, and SingikChungthang&Maltim. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 7: Lachung – Excursion Yumthang Valley
Early Morning visit Yumthang-Valley (Famous as Valley of variety of Rhododendron), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis (Myth). On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Later back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 8: Drive Lachung – Gangtok (120 kms/5 hrs drive) (B Packed Lunch)
After breakfast departure (8.00 am,) for Gangtok. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9: Drive Gangtok – Bagdogra – Departure
Transfer to Bagdogra airport for onward destination.
