Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Meet and assist on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Delhi - Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Delhi which has served as the Capital to several ancient and medieval Empires. The history of Delhi is as old as 3000 years. Today, the city is a unique blend of Old and New which is very evident in the two parts – Old Delhi and New Delhi, the latter mainly built by the British.
Drive past Jama Masjid Mosque, once largest in Asia, drive past Red fort, Visit Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial), India Gate, President and Parliament house. Also visit Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. Overnight stay in Delhi. Evening board the overnight train for Umaria, the nearest town to the Bandhavgarh National park. Overnight at Train.
Day 3: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Meet on arrival at station and transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park. Day for Jungle activities and Safari. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Day for Jungle activities and Safari. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve - Kanha Tiger Reserve
After breakfast drive to Kanha National Park. . Kanha’s sol and bamboo forests, rolling grasslands and meandering streams stretch over 940 sq. km. in dramatic natural splendor. This is original Kipling country, of which he wrote so vividly in his Jungle Book. The same abundance of wildlife species exists today in Kanha Notional Park, which forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve created in 1974 under Project Tiger. The park is the only habitat of the rare hard ground barasingha (Cervus Duvaceli Branderi). By a special status in 1955, Kanha Notional Park comes into being. Since then, a series of stringent conservation programmers for the protection of the park’s flora and fauna has given Kanha its deserved reputation for being one of the finest and best administered National Parks in Asia an irresistible attraction for all wildlife lovers and a true haven for its animal and avian population. Evening is free for jungle safari. Overnight in Kanha.
Day 6: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Day for morning & evening jungle safari. Overnight in Kanha.
Day 7: Kanha – Nagpur
Today drive to Nagpur. Known for its Oranges, Nagpur is one of the important cities in Maharashtra. The Orange Capital of India has many other pleasures. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 8: Nagpur - Delhi – Departure
Check-out of your hotel and start for your journey to home. The fond memories of the wilderness of Madhya Pradesh go with you.
