Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Meeting & Greeting at Airport & transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi - Guwahati - Manas National Park(180 Kms / 05 Hrs.)
After breakfast transfer to Airport to connect flight for Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati drive to Manas National Park. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Manas Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the State of Assam in North-East India, a biodiversity hotspot. Covering an area of 39,100 hectares, it spans the Manas river and is bounded to the north by the forests of Bhutan. The Manas Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the core zone of the 283,700 hectares Manas Tiger Reserve, and lies alongside the shifting river channels of the Manas River. The site’s scenic beauty includes a range of forested hills, alluvial grasslands and tropical evergreen forests. The site provides critical and viable habitats for rare and endangered species, including tiger, greater one-horned rhino, swamp deer, pygmy hog and Bengal florican. Manas has exceptional importance within the Indian sub-continent’s protected areas, as one of the most significant remaining natural areas in the region, where sizeable populations of a large number of threatened species continue to survive. Day 3: Manas National Park
Day for the Jungle activities in the park. Manas Tiger Reserve on the Bhutan border is home for tigers, Rhinos, Elephants, gaur and the golden langur. Overnight at the forest lodge.
Day 4: Manas Tiger Reserve - Guwahati
After breakfast drive to Guwahati. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening optional visit to Srimanta Shakerdeva Kalashetra. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (220 Kms. / 06 Hrs. drive)
We will start our journey towards Kaziranga National Park. On arrival transfer to hotel. Kaziranza National Park - a world Heritage site. The great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. Also harbour swamp deer or Barasingha, Hog Deer, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, etc. Overnight at the forest lodge.
Day 6: Kaziranga National Park
Early morning depart for exciting elephant safari. Feel the gratifying pleasure in a early morning elephant safari across the Western range of the National Park at 5:30 A.M or 6:30 A.M. the great Asian one-horned Rhinos with wild Buffalo, Tiger, Elephant, variety of Deer, Python and variety of migratory birds, water birds, predators, scavengers and game birds etc. Return to Hotel for breakfast and refreshment. Then we will go for a local sightseeing including renowned lush green tea gardens of Assam, Karbi Ethnic village and local village etc. Then you can have your lunch at your choice (optional). After lunch, we will go for jeep safari at the national park for another dose of
Day 7: Kaziranga National Park - Jorhet - Calcutta
After early breakfast go for trekking at Panbari Range - a reserve forest and a natural corridor to the adjoining Karbi Hills. See Woodland birds like the Shama, Paradise Flycatcher etc. Later drive to Jorhat (approx 97 Kms. 2 hrs. drive). On arrival Jorhat transfer to Airport to board onward flight for home.
